One in NYC, one in Chicago, one in Boston. That's where the 3 of us Kernion kids have rooted ourselves for the time being---products of parents who applauded our strong wills and desires to move wherever life takes us, to not be tied down. Naturally, our siblingtime now is just that much more precious and sweet...and when it comes from out of the blue like a last minute trip to the City, my week is certainly made:) Jetting to town before classes begin again, Jackson made a surprise visit to see his gf and I stole them away for a night of (whatelse?), pizza making and some good ol' fashioned catching up. My friend Trish posted a message about her own sibling today and that got me feeling all sorts of warm and fuzzy for my own that I call mine. Jackson & Eliz...I love you to bits. Nights like this make life a whole pile of great.
"To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other’s hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time. " -Clara Ortega One in NYC, one in Chicago, one in Boston. Wipe the tears from my eyes. I love you guys! So glad you got to eat some grub (best Jackson's had in awhile, I bet.) Did he ask how the heck you became a chef after growing up in OUR house? Sooo happy 2 Kernion Kids were together tonight.

Hahaha the jury's still out trying to figure that one! The pizza and sibling time was just what the week needed.
