So so very happy to hear from you and to know that you and your family are all doing well :) Isabella was just a little 12wk old nugget in the summer of 2011...time certainly flies by. My family and I still talk about our trip in Alaska everytime we all get together, hands down. Brady & Liz are now in LA, Jackson is at Berkeley getting his PhD, Mom & Dad in Pittsburgh, and Lee & I still in NYC...and we just welcomed our first daughter into the world: Morgan Anne Markle!
You see, your Morgan had quite the impact on us that trip. While there were so many highlights from our time in Alaska, I was so touched (as was Lee) by the spirit of your Morgan. I remember the one afternoon when I stayed back at the lake while the rest of my family went mountain biking and Morgan took me hunting for blueberries. We kicked around in the dirt, we played and laughed and did hide & go seek. A little outdoor enthusiast she was already and I'm sure she's grown into that personlaity even more the past year. SO...when Lee & I found out we were expecting a little girl, the name was an easy decision. We hope that our daughter, born last Monday Dec 17th, has the same love and spirit for the world around her (she's got the blonde hair to match, so that's checked off the list;) as your Morgan does.
Attached are a few pictures of our new little bundle. All the best to you and your family out west and happy holidays from New York City!
Cheers,
Sarah Markle
